Moscow, April 16, Interfax – Property problems raised over Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Bishkek.
"City authorities issued property documents on Holy Resurrection Cathedral on March 25, and on April 12 the land got new masters. They just came here and said, now the land is ours," the Pervy Canal has reported.
Member of the Kyrgyzstan Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots Stansilav Yepifantsev said he received dozens of calls from Russian-speaking citizens of the republic who told him about threats, attempts to seize property and everyday conflicts.
"People are almost packing their suitcases. Many people don't leave the country only because they lack money to do it," he said.
