Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia is conducting Easter services in Egypt. After a Divine Liturgy in Alexandria’s Annunciation cathedral, Patriarch Kirill will be meeting with Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Theodoros II. On Sunday the two Patriarchs will conduct a joint liturgy. During his three-day stay in Egypt, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church will meet with members of a local Russian parish and Russian expats. In Cairo Kirill will be meeting with President Hosni Mubarak and the leaders of the local Moslem and Coptic Christian communities. There are Orthodox temples – about 150 in all - in almost every African nation with prayers said in English, Greek, Arabic and African languages.
